Should President Bush bail out the Auto Industry?

To day Mr. Bush gave 17.5 Billion Dollars to the big three to bail them out of debt, and to let them not to go out of business and putting thousands out of a job in the US. Supply Companies and tire company would have also been in trouble. President Elect praised Mr. Bush for his actions today!Should President Bush bail out the Auto Industry?
Dubya deserves a fair trial, not because he has earned it but because it is our system of laws. We cannot take him out behind the White House barn and hang him. He, like every other person who has damaged our country should get a fair trial and after that...do his time in Leavenworth just like all the other criminals.

We are a civilized people even after the last eight years of abuse. He should be able to hire one of those sweetheart-deal attorneys to defend him...maybe we could send both of them to Leavenworth.

"Hope springs eternal in the breast of man..."
Huh?

Mr. Bush isn't President and can not give the auto industry anything, except his OWN money.

Oh, is today in December 2008?

My time machine must be broken.Should President Bush bail out the Auto Industry?

It's not my fault that GM can't run a company.Should President Bush bail out the Auto Industry?
No one should support the auto industry:

GM were making the Hummer long after the writing was on the wall that gas guzzlers had had their time in the sun.

Ford has also lost its way and has hemorrhaged money for the past several years (partly due to it's motor sport participation - the highest paid Ford employee some years ago was a race drive Eddie Irvine who drove for the Jaguar Formula 1 team when Ford owned Jaguar - he earned even more than the company's president - and the president had no idea). That gives you a clue about their management.

The others in the US are so unimportant as to be of no importance.
