Should I wait even longer or just tell him to go f*ck himself and date this other guy who isn't Mr. Right?

So, I can either date Mr. Right Now or wait another few years and maybe this other guy will be "ready." I'm tired of the game playing, and feel Mr. Right Now is better than being played forever. Opinions?|||There is no "Mr. Right". This is a cultural delusion and lie. Every "Mr. Right" (and every Ms. Right) turn out to have flaws because no one is perfect. Therefore, no relationship is perfect.

You are left with the reality that there is only "Mr. Right-Enough". And a guy who wants you is better than a guy who doesn't.

The question is, can you understand without having to learn for yourself the hard way, that you're not really missing out on something just because there's no fireworks with Mr. Right Now? The fireworks of infatuation always die out within 2-3 years (sometimes sooner) ... this is because they are caused by chemicals released in the brain that create that urgent, obsessive feeling. And within 2-3 years, the brain has "habituated" to these chemicals and slowly stops responding to them. And when the infatuation dies, is you are lucky you find out that you actually like this guy and from there on in, you two can start to build a mature, companionate love that might last a lifetime.
