How many people are tired of whiny civil servants?

To those of us out there who work 60 hours a week busting our balls; aren't you tired of sniveling civil service workers (cops, teachers, city hall employees, etc) with their excessive pensions, cushy benefits, and excessive job security always crying and complaining while the rest of us have to keep paying and paying? I won鈥檛 vote for a political candidate whose main endorses are public service unions. Sorry Mr. Policeman, there are much more dangerous jobs than what you have that don鈥檛 have cushy 3%/50 pensions. If you don鈥檛 like the job 鈥?quit! (Please).

Thanks for letting me get this off of my chest. I am just tired of civil employees who don鈥檛 know how to produce. How many of you feel the same way?How many people are tired of whiny civil servants?
the cops in my town are great, Niles Illinois which borders chicago, where the cops are horrible and should mostly all be fired. BTW the teachers in Niles so far are great as well.

I am tired of going to the DMV and waiting in 17 different lines to have them tell you to sign here and walk over there.

I am tired of the Chicago 311 operators who are ******* and tell you to that you have a problem and should get counselling when you have a legitimate problem.

I am tired of teachers who get underpaid and are mean and cruel to my stepson (who goes to school in Chicago).

I am tired of the politicians who get overpaid and cushy jobs and don't even do them. And worse is the ones who rip us off and still get overpaid and illegal perks, while not doing their jobs. How many people are tired of whiny civil servants?
teachers especially, they dont get paid that bad. And also they can take summer jobs or tutoring jobs to bring in more money and great benefits.

also, there are so many teachers today who dont even really care about the kids

i have known teachers who were drug addicts...lovely huh?How many people are tired of whiny civil servants?
So let me get this straght, you want the POLICE who believe me have no cushy job to quit because they get a better pension than you will. As for teachers I had 4(3-retired) %26amp; they are %26amp; were dedicated to their jobs %26amp; are still involved in education still.

Your question and comments, I have mixed think about. I agree with your basic premise about whiney civil servants. By the way, they are not really servants, because they dont really serve anybody but themselves. Even our politicians do not serve the public anymore, they expect the public to serve them. The only true civil servants in my book are the enlisted men and women in our armed forces (and maybe a few of the lower ranking officers).

But back to your question. Yes, whiney civil masters are a pain in the butt. I hate not only their discusting whining, but the product they produce sucks as well. They would never last in the private sector, and would be out of business in no time flat. But...I am also equally discusted when I hear comments about people like you that lash out at others about your working 60 hours a week. Hey, thats ur choice, so stop throwing it up in our faces. And don't call others lazy for not being as greedy or dumb as you for not wasting our lives away working. Some consider working oneself into the ground as being successful, while others value a quality of life that involves spending time with their families, watching their kids grow, getting involved with their communities, and having quality time to enjoy life. That is not being lazy, and it is not being unsuccessful either. I've always seen the man that works all the time as a fool who squanders his valuable God-given time in pursuit of money or riches, while forsaking all else. Life is a balancing act, qualitiy of live vs wealth %26amp; success.
